Hi! I'm Katelyn.

My parents first realized my love for baking when they found a tape in our camcorder of my six-year-old self setting up and hosting my very own cooking show. True, it was my playschool kitchen and I was showing my audience how to make delicious, plastic eggs but you get the idea. Ever since I can remember I have spent time with my mother and grandmother learning how to bake yummy, delicious things and this hobby has only grown with age. Now that I’m older, I enjoy baking desserts for my friends and family and making my wonderful fiancé and all our friends taste new recipes (mean aren’t I?). 

I love video games, cartoons, cute fluffy animals, and dorky TV shows. I have the memory of a goldfish and tend to bump into things. Ask my fiance; it’s amazing how many bruises I can acquire. But I can frost the heck out of a cupcake and you’ll never meet a more dedicated Sunday cartoon watcher.

I started this blog as part of my plan for the Failure Club.  My goal: to create and publish my very own cookbook! This blog will track my progress, successes and of course failures. It will also be my platform to share all the yummy recipes I create as I go along!
